Youth Outreach Program
The Youth Outreach Program (Y.O.P.) was created in response to a vast number of youth in search of a community program they can call their own. This ongoing support network is run by teens for teens. Y.O.P. is offered by Mind Body and Soul Self-Help Support Centre Inc., a charitable, community-based organization committed to creating an environment where “living a life of excellence” is achieved through support, patience, love and understanding. We provide a safe , friendly, and non-judgmental environment where the mind, body and soul can be nurtured in a harmonious way. We offer a wide variety of programs that reflect our community’s culturally diverse needs.
Y.O.P.’s philosophy is simple as highlighted in our logo, “to provide a helping hand, a listening ear and an open heart”.
As members of Y.O.P., teens from 13-18 years of age shall have the benefits of: counselling both in group and one-on-one sessions, tutoring, building relationships, peer support programs, anti-bullying workshops, transitioning into high school, high school and family support counselling, moving into post secondary education, and considering possibilities that await you.
This wonderful opportunity will allow you to express your individualism, meet new friends, mentor and/or offer support to your peers.
